Ripley Riders Club is overseen by an organising committee.
All committee members are volunteers and receive no pay or expenses.
The club is non profit making. The committee tries to balance income against expenditure over the season whilst carrying forward a cash surplus sufficient to meet the expenses which need to be paid at the start of the year such as showground rent and public liability insurance and provide for repairs and renewals to the club’s equipment as required.
The club’s main income is derived from membership fees and class entry fees, supplemented by various small fundraising activities. Major expenses are insurance, showground rent, trophies and rosettes, first aid cover on show day and toilet hire.
